Shipping
Document Control ships via the Unites States Postal Service or UPS. Books, updates and CD’s take up to 10 business days from time of order to ship. Orders for FD Books, CD’s and EMS Operating Guides will ship up to 10 business days after the order is received.
Dates when FD quarterly updates will ship.
1st quarter updates will ship after April 1st
2nd quarter updates will ship after July 1st
3rd quarter updates will ship after October 1st
4th quarter updates will ship after January 1st of the following year
Updates can take up to 10 business days to ship after their quarter has ended.
Fire Books – FAQ
Complete set of Fire Department Books printed on Paper. Books are updated through December 31st.
In order to keep your books up to date you need to order all updates available from January 1st to current date. Books can take up to 10 business days to ship after their quarter has ended.
Fire CD – FAQ
You will receive the most current quarterly CD available at the time of your order. The CD has all the Fire Department Books organized into folders. The files are in PDF format and can be used on ANY device that has the ability to view PDFs.
When quarterly updates are completed you will receive an updated CD. The updated CD will have ALL the Fire Department Books organized into folders. The files are in PDF format and can be used on ANY device that has the ability to view PDFs.
Example:
CD ordered from January 1st to March 31st are updated through the previous year. After March 31st you will receive a new CD with all the Books and Updates on it. You will continue to receive the updated CD after the next quarter ends. In this case you will receive 5 CD’s
CD ordered from April 1st to June 31st are updated with the current years 1st quarter updates. After June 31st you will receive a new CD with all the Books and Updates on it. You will continue to receive the updated CD after the next quarter ends. In this case you will receive 4 CD’s
CD ordered from July 1st to September 31st are updated with the current years 1st quarter and 2nd quarter updates. After September 31st you will receive a new CD with all the Books and Updates on it. You will continue to receive the updated CD after the next quarter ends. In this case you will receive 3 CD’s
CD ordered from October 1st to December 31st are updated with the current years 1st quarter, 2nd quarter and 3rd quarter updates. After December 31st you will receive a new CD with all the Books and Updates on it. You will continue to receive the updated CD after the next quarter ends. In this case you will receive 2 CD’s.
CD can take up to 10 business days to ship after their quarter has ended.
Fire Updates – FAQ
1) How do I order updates for the entire year?
In order to receive updates for the the full year you need to order ALL 4 quarters individually. You can select the quantity of updates for each quarter then hit add to to cart. All the quarters you select will be added at once.
2) When will my updates ship?
Updates ordered for a past quarters will ship out immediately when order is placed and can take up to 10 business days for you to receive them. Updates for future quarters will ship at the end of the quarter and can take up to 10 business days for you to receive them. Please see shipping example below to determine when updates will ship.
Shipping Example
1st quarter updates will ship after April 1st: If you order updates from January to March 31st you will receive your 1st update after April 1st.
2nd quarter updates will ship after July 1st: If you order updates from April to June 31st you will receive your 1st update after July 1st.
3rd quarter updates will ship after October 1st: If you order updates from July to September 31st you will receive your 1st update after October 1st.
4th quarter updates will ship after January 1st of the following year: If you order updates from October to December 31st you will receive your 1st update after January 1st of the following year.

EMS Operating Guide (Paper)
EMS Operating Guide will ship out when order is placed and can take up to 10 business days for you to receive it. There are no updates for the EMS Operating Guide and if you need a current version then you will need to order another guide.
